The Home Affairs Department says it has systems in place to ensure that illegal miners who have been kicked out of the country, do not return.
This comes as the scourge of illegal mining threatens the South African economy. The Department says they make sure that those deported especially along the Zimbabwean, Mozambique and Lesotho borders have no opportunity to return as those areas will be closely monitored through its counter-return operations.
