Stop Doing This To Windows 11 or Windows 10

Stop Doing This To Windows 11 or Windows 10
Over the years, I seen people going on about boosting fps, reduce latency, stop micro stutters and tweak windows 10 or windows 11. I am yet to see a massive difference in FPS in Windows 10/11 after applying windows tweaks.
People will try just about anything to gain 10 FPS, the app today is part of the major problem windows users face who don’t know any better and believe anything they are told. Most of the windows users end up breaking the operating system. Just enjoying getting better at the game and stop worry about FPS. If you want more FPS, buy a better GPU and stop trying to turn a 15 year old office PC into a modern gaming pc by tweaking. Want better performance? buy better hardware.

  1. Hallo i have a pc which i feel is not performing in some games and i have fully optimized my pc….Britec is there anyway you can go through my system to see if anything was done wrong?

  2. For win11 use titus winutil to clear out some win11 bloat also use windows 11 International Edition as it contains much less garbage aswell less spyware.
Then Explorer patcher to tweak it to be USABLE again.
Because win11 is just tablet OS not computer OS.

Both Titus winutil and Explorer Patcher are both free of cost and FOSS (Free Open Source Software)

Powerplan is dependent on the game youre playing as some needs optimized and some need max performance.
Core parking depends on youre cpu if you have more than 1 CCX same for Intel/AMD.
Some games likes GPU overclocking, some underclocking, some none..

    It is what it is.

  3. If you know your stuff , you can do any of these manually in windows settings, group policy editor, services , task scheduler…. And all of them are reversible…. I can't find any reason why these exists…… My cinebench and 3d mark score got worse after I tried these kind of apps 😂😂😂😂 Just don't use these apps , learn how to manually do these , it's fun actually…. Sometimes I fireup my VM just to manually disable crap on windows cause I'm a nerd 😂

  4. You can do all of this for free through youtube videos…. many explain what and why to do things and what it affects on your PC. I just do enough to limit the start-up time for windows, decrease some of the background windows shit using my cpu and memory. 5-10 possible FPS is pointless. Chris Titus has a decent free program which simplified what i wanted to do and has the option to revert everything back. It also has an option to install programs that you want without having to look for each one separately. There is another guy who has a video who shows a couple safe things that chris's program doesnt do. I just wish windows had a more basic install option. I would almost pay more for it to give me less. Since they have a Pro and Home version, why cant they develope a Gamer (high performance with the 3 big game launchers) and ProGamer(Gamer with their preferred streaming and capture software)?

  5. Two uroa in the "advanced" section is definitely not recommended: disabling UAC and disabling Windows Defender. UAC can prevent some stupid mistakes, such as inadvertently running a program you shouldn't run. But disabling the default antivirus protection together with the other protections that Windows Defender provides for those with a different antivirus solution? That's a big NO in my book..

  6. Have you done a video on defragmenting an SSD? I have read that this shouldn't be done as the SSD will look after itself and defragmenting will screw up everything. Is this the case? I have and use SpyZooka and it tells me that my SSD has never been defragmented and I'm extremely hesitant about letting it do this. SypZooka has defragmented my registry – happened automatically during a Clean cycle – and it seemed to work fine, but I don't want to let it defragment my SSD as that's the only storage device on my PC.

  7. Like someone else commented Brian this is great advice for those who do not know any different. Frankly, this stuff has rolled out by the bucket loads over the years and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to know it is just so these jokers can make money. I look at this rubbish actually bordering on scamming.

  8. Never used these paid software, but I did use a few free closed-source tools such as CCleaner which served me well for a while. I've ultimately switched to open-source alternatives and DIYs and never looked back. Fortunately, I made the switch before CCleaner was compromised back in 2017, so I dodged a bullet there.

Sure, the alternative is more work, but it's better that you know the changes made to your system than to use a non-transparent closed-source app that claims to do all this stuff for you — especially now that Windows itself is making changes on its own.

  9. This 500k gamers claim where they say you will like the program reminds me of a Pepto bismal commercial from the seventies where some guy complains about his wife cooking. Evidentally she prepared something that was awful and she told him to try it and he would like it. Well he said "I tried it. Though I was going to do die.
