Stilfontein Mine | Families plead with authorities to retrieve illegal miners



Families of illegal miners who are still underground at shaft 11 in Stilfontein are pleading with the authorities to retrieve them.

They say even if that means their family members will be arrested, it will be better because they will know their whereabouts.

I just don't believe the hundreds or even thousands of zama zamas accessed the mine via the derelict Shaft 11… There's no way they each individually went down a 2.5km deep shaft on a single makeshift rope one at a time, & then there's all the miners equipment, provisions etc…They must have gone down in the lift at the Margaret Shaft, & admitting to that exposes yet more corruption of mining company staff…🤔🤔🤔

  2. When arbotion law is promulgated by government no right to life is advocated. But when fully fledged adults endanger themselves through criminality right of life becomes an issue. Ann unborn baby who didn't choose to be conceived gets killed it's not a human right issue. That's hypocrisy and double standards
