  1. I would say move the radar to the middle screen within the three panels, and if possible allow players to project any extraneous information to the other two MFDs that are unused at the top for those who need it, but as a first past for the new HUDs it looks good.

  2. Man you are doing some great work breaking down these changes but I have to disagree with your take on the mining UI in general. They have absolutely gone for Form over Function here and that’s a terrible mistake. They have not considered contrast in actual operating environments at all and what on earth is the radar doing being projected over an existing panel? This looks a mess to me. The UI designers have done a good job making it look pretty but it’s not good it is cumbersome and barely visible. As always though, this is the first iteration and I hope they listen to the overwhelming feedback from the community about these.

  3. Def gonna give the prospector a bit of love. Mfds are a learning curb and new things are good things.

    Def took some getting use to the Mfd navigation but once you got the hang of it you can switch pretty quickly isn't L-alt + wasd and q/e

  4. I personally don't like that particular UI. It makes no sense to have those 2 MFD's have nothing on and have a radar to see approaching ships plotting on your cargo completely off the screen so you can't see it. The holographic flickering also looks annoying. Just looks like graphical artifacting TBH. But each to their own.
