Spray Water To Prevent Dust For Mining !

When conducting open-pit mining in mines, the following aspects can be taken to implement dust prevention measures effectively:

Firstly, adopt wet drilling and blasting techniques. Continuously add water during the drilling process and use water bags and other devices during blasting, which can effectively reduce the generation of dust.

Secondly, sprinkle water regularly on the stope and transportation roads to keep the surfaces moist and reduce dust raising.

Furthermore, install spray devices, especially at locations with large dust generation such as unloading points and crushing stations. The formation of water mist through spraying can capture the dust.

Cover the transportation vehicles with tarpaulins to reduce dust raising during the transportation of materials.

Seal the crushing, screening and other equipment and install efficient dust collection devices to purify the dusty gas before discharging.

Reasonably plan the ventilation system in the mining area. Utilize natural wind and mechanical ventilation to expel the dust out of the operation area.

Plant vegetation around the mining area, which can not only prevent wind and fix sand but also reduce dust raising.

Strengthen personal protection for miners, provide them with protective equipment such as dust masks that meet standards, and conduct relevant training to ensure correct usage.

Meanwhile, monitor the dust concentration in the mining area regularly. Adjust the dust prevention measures promptly based on the monitoring results to ensure that the dust concentration in the working environment complies with national standards and occupational health requirements.
