It should have been a cloud gaming service where you didn't have to connect to a ps5 to play games and it was an optional feature to connect to ps5. Sony Let us down 😪😪

You can play your PS5 games anywhere with a WiFi connection. Pretty cool
What if you leave your PlayStation on all the time and just never disconnect your portal from it no matter where you are and just keep charging it.
This would be good for all us dads trying to get “me time” on the shitter.

PSP already supported PS3 Remote Play. Vita supported PS3 Remote Play from the get go, and later had PS4 Remote Play. This is essentially an overpriced dedicated Remote Play device that's not even OLED. Doesn't look like it's compatible with the PS4, either.
This would've been so perfect as it's own console like how the switch is, dammit the let down :/

This is marketed as an assessory for the PS5 and not intended as a stand alone console. It's not for everyone. It's the official most authentic way to play your PS5 remotely in portable fashion. It's not perfect, but it is clearly labeled if people do just the minimal amount of research.
I wish they made PlayStation like a steam deck that u don’t have to stream games but other than that I can’t complain because it’s soooo nice and I got mine yesterday im Happy 😊

A) doesn’t let you directly stream PS Plus games even though that’s a feature of the service
B) forces you to connect to PS5 through wifi instead of direct wireless connection like the PS3/PS4 remote play
What i dont understand is if your ps5 basically becomes the server, why does it need internet? Local LAN should be enough
