Quick couple thoughts since releasing this.
#1 – People have done this with silverfish spawners but it was limited to where you could move a bunch of silverfish. The idea of silverfish mining isn’t new or what I was testing, I wanted to see the mobility and speed of how fast you can make a setup like this to make them spawn.
#2 – I don’t know how it’ll be used, if it even can be. I’m still playing around because *I* had never seen silverfish mining nor do I care about silverfish spawner mining as that’s a completely different setup.
#3 – Niesn didn’t invent silverfish mining. Neither did I. And nobody is claiming either of us did. I said I saw a cool video where he used a potion and wanted to test it. I put this live to send to 3 friends and thought maybe 100 or so of my regulars would see it and go “cool!” lol
So just … breathe. It’s ok. Nobody’s trying to hurt your boy Etho. I love Etho. He can have the credit if Ray doesn’t take it first. Roland or Panda or all the other guys who tried it … yes, it’s been done. The POTION is new to 1.21.

This is some “proof of concept” testing I just did after watching a couple of INSANE videos.
This is ONE potion of infestation with 16 allays. The allays are taking damage from the campfire but they can out-heal the damage.
After that one potion is thrown, I speed up the “loading” of silverfish into the dirt box. This took maybe 2-3 minutes IRL.
Then I threw splash poison followed by splash regen at the masses. CHAOS. The chaos is REAL TIME.
Original vid with the new 1.21 potion … (maybe?) by Niesn. That’s where I saw it and he is credited on other vids and in other comment sections.

I didn’t expect this to get seen by 4000+ people, it was just a quick vid to show off the concept using 1.21 potions. I will have tutorials & more on here and have a main channel so … yeah maybe drop a sub or something while you’re here. lol
