  1. Skip the IS 500 and get RC F. I own an IS 500 its a great car but the flaws are many, first there's bumper sag, TSB does not fix and it breaks bumper further. The chassis is not stiff, RC F has better chassis dynamics and it handles better. Plus you can track it. Only downsides of RC F are – no TVD option (maybe better for longevity since its a very expensive part and heavy). no Driver memory for US market. Engine bracing removed from 2023 MY. Upsides – Far robust chassis vs IS 500, Trans and Oil cooler from factory, higher top speed, launch control, bigger brakes, Michelin PS4 out of factory, real leather interior vs nuluxe on IS, last F car on the planet. 2025 will be the last MY for 2UR GSE. RCF, LC500, IS 500 all will be killed in favor of newer models. GT3 RC F successor is coming with TTV8. No more NA V8.

  2. I agree 1000%!! As soon as Lexus made the announcement for the IS500, I had a deposit down. There was no way I would miss out on the opportunity to buy the last N/A V8 in a NEW car! Yup…BP Gas Pump #5 is visited so much he’s on the Christmas Card List and I’ve burned through 2 sets of PS4S tires, but I don’t care, the car is awesome. 🥰 Thanks for posting, I hope people listen to you! 😎

  3. For kicks I do a search about once every 2 weeks for RCFs for sale and the numbers are ridiculously low now nationwide. Nothing beats the low growl of the NA V8 engine forged by the best engineers Lexus has.

  4. Great video Steve! So true. But I'm hoping/praying that Lexus will enthrall us with another last version of a V8 (4.0L TT V8) – but unfortunately with forced induction in the presumed LF-R.
Not sure how many years the 2UR-GSE will remain – but I assume another 2 (max) since the RC-F and LC already got discontinued in the UK and EU.
