As promised, this is part 2 of my 2023 server rack tour. In this video, I describe the major changes I made this year with upgrading/consolidating my network switches used for my home network as well as adding a 3rd patch panel.
Some cable management also happened in the process. I moved my Home Assistant system over to my Protectli VP2410 and my OPNsense box to my R86S-U4 to take advantage of the 10Gbps interfaces.
I describe in more detail how everything is connected together within my rack more than any of my other server rack tours. At some point, I plan to diagram out my network since that will allow to you to study it in detail.
