ALL cars speedometers are out. By 5kmh or 3mph. They read high from factory. It's to prevent dumbasses sueing the manufacturer for their speeding tickets etc. It's deliberate and it's done to every car.
My dads a state boy (not saying where) but he would always take us for rides in his car and one time he hit a deer and he took us to help him pick up the pieces from his car 😂😂
The certified soeedometer thing has 0 bearing legally as they must be certified annually. Miss a certification date and you can never "pace" a vehicke again. Some companies may recert with a missed date, but 99% wont. Use this info as you wish
V8 and All wheel drive was a terrible combo. That’s why even for Police, it’s no longer offered. They simply destroyed themselves. Between that and the under oiled cams during idle, the vehicle platform in that configuration was and still is trash.
No the speedometer it’s self is certified but that doesn’t mean the vehicle is any more accurate because variations in tires and air still impact and the vehicle isn’t dyno-certified. It’s really rather meaningless accept for older vehicles built in the early 90s
