When air launchers move there has to be other air defense systems in place protecting the air space.

Why aint the patriot has no protective anti missile whose radar, gps & satellite system can detect inbound warheads 1000 km away? Or recon missile defense system to destroy in advance or before launch missile trucks or bases located deep within enemy territories.
