The RSI Zeus Mk II CL in Star Citizen is a medium-sized freight ship developed by Roberts Space Industries. It pays homage to the original Zeus series, humanity’s first spacecraft designed for deep space travel in 2140. The Mk II CL variant specializes in commerce. It features 128 SCU of cargo capacity and is equipped with a tractor beam to manage large freight, making it ideal for players focused on cargo transportation.

The ship measures 45.7 meters in length, 34.3 meters in width, and 8 meters in height. It’s designed to be operated by a crew of 1 to 3 people, offering both versatility and utility for solo or small-team cargo runs.

The Greycat ROC (Remote Ore Collector) is a ground vehicle in Star Citizen designed for mining small mineral deposits. It’s equipped with a mining laser and has a storage capacity for mined materials. The ROC is ideal for solo mining operations on planetary surfaces and moons, offering an accessible way for players to gather valuable resources.

  1. I think the rocks themselves aren't spawning some entity required to actually interact with them. Graphically, they're there, but you can just walk through them, drive through them, the laser doesn't collide, etc. So whatever collision layer they use for it is just nonexistent right now.

  2. Yup, this is what my first time ROC mining was like last weekend. Then they did a soft wipe/update something Wednesday this past week(11-6-24) I think. My prospector got sent back to stock mode and now the mining arm is damaged while changing the laser head back to the upgraded head……that the whole mining arm is red…..and won't repair, or claim repair. Or self destruct claim repair/reset. Not even in safe space with repair tools. Tried taking the arm off with tractor beams and that just sent the ship flying away.
No matter what I do…..my poor Prospector has a headless damaged beyond use mining arm.

  3. yeah so i tried this yesterday… mined 3 hadenite formations, server error, joined back in the same place…. roc falls through the planet, log off spawned at station and all the gems were lost.
i hope they will fix roc having absolutely no grip physics

  4. I'm not sure why but I was able to mine in a cave on Hurston but can't mine with ROC. have not tried prospector yet. I would have thought that if you can mine with multitool in a cave, you could get rocks to show up.
