Wow, WDW PRO was the star of this livestream. He had one of the best performances of Salty Saturday history in my opinion. He had great insight on the Acolyte cancellation. Then he reported how we are consuming old content rather than recent or new content. I had not thought about that. Brian mentioned that he has been watching the sitcom Spin City which aired from 1996 to 2000. Then Pro had a great statement "If we don't consume this woke content, the creators claim it is not because the content was bad, it is persecution. " Finally, there was some great insight as we find out that Terry Matalas who really wanted to work on Star Trek is now working on multiple Marvel Projects. WDW PRO explained that this bad content means we skipped a whole generation of fans. Star Trek will have an impossible task bringing younger fans back to the franchise. Brian and Shane often mentioned this on their podcast. As we legacy fans age, our children are not interested in Star Trek, and we have not shared with them the new Star Trek because it is so terrible.
