I do wish you would not talk so fast. It is difficult to understand you. Nice review however. I have a Touring on order. White with grey interior.
Can you disable "fake shifting" and "fake motor noise" in general?
While I've seen these on the road, they're just too low for me to comfortably enter and exit. That said, why in the world isn't a Hybrid offered in the HRV? Same platform…..
Brilliant review and I am really like this sedan.
More power is nice but we have to think about replacing the battery after 10 years. Today it costs about $5k to replace the battery alone. I'm planning to keep my Civic for a long time (10+ years) so I'm sticking with a gas engine.
I would take the Civic Hybrid over the Corolla Hybrid and Prius.
Honda is going to steal alot of market share from Toyota with this new hybrid civic.
I really enjoy your reviews. Which would you choose: Civic Hybrid Sport without the wireless Android Auto but has sunroof maybe $1000 more than the Prius LE?
Can't wait for the hatch, I just wish it had rear A/C vents.
Hybrid system as reliable as Toyota’s?
thanks 🙏
Just turned 30 and i now have the urge of trading in my 2022 WRX for this, am I crazy lol ?
Very nice review, as usual, Matt.
Road noise over the mic is awful, please use a remote mic, but, great review on the car!
I think the prelude is going to be the true SI hybrid….
Which has a quieter cabin Civic or Prius? Another review mentioned the Prius A pillar caught some wind noise. Your thoughts? Thanks
It's really nice to have a good looking hybrid option.
Too expensive for what it is
Great rview Matt. Would you prefer this over the 25 Civic Si? They made some good updates
I need that screen to be integrated into the dash otherwise i am not buying this
….people still use satellite radio?
Paying for low quality radio stations with no customization makes no sense to me.
These things have grown up so nicely! That Sand Dune Pearl is definitely a throwback to the champagne colors of yore.
I'm comparing this to the 2025 Camry SE since the Civic is now quite large for a "compact" sedan. The price is close and the Camry has more power, but also weighs more. (Civic 200 hp / 32xx lbs vs Camry 225 hp / 34xx lbs). The Camry also has the option of AWD.
Thank You Matt, excellent as always. I've been waiting for this from Honda. Will be taking a look at the hybrid in the metal. But not going for a first year but perhaps 2026.
I’d definitely get the civic hybrid over the Prius. The Prius is nice but too small for my taste. I just wish the civic had a spare! Great review!
Hiw does it compare to the accord h
Civic has always been so versatile but this gen seems to have gone above and beyond, great review!
No AWD, No Party
Not a 1" screen difference, but rather 2". The base 7" screen Honda uses is a joke at this point, and I feel will not age well, as most modern cars are moving to larger screens.
The civic for sure looks way better than the other two you mentioned inside and outside!
I’m gonna have to drive it. I like the way it sounded!
I listen to satellite radio when I’m in the car so that really sucks too damn!
I don’t like the front end as much as before the refresh. and the wheels are the same on the hatchback. They used to be different on the top trip now they’re just identical. Wish they could’ve differentiated the hatchback top trim with some different wheels like they did last version.
Not touching the prius
