Hope you have a guest to talk about recent Bangladesh revolution and potential for radical politics there
Hello
PLACE STRUGLE is rife…..amongst the CIRCUMCISED thinkers of ownership of proletariat consciousness…..GPS..my idealist son gave me your adress…….Poutine is having a half laugh at the west……as for the epicenter of the circumcised, the 3rd type of mankind IS REAL….is very promissing of a Dr Strangelove at last…god s complex neurosis oblige
perhaps this text eviserating modern day "militants" as all a bunch of hopeless 'try-hard' masochists.. would best be read/performed by John Malcovich with a big drawl bordering on bitter dejected, exhausted cynicism. ? .. i just mean: for all the theatric polemic gestures against modern day "militants" (does this even really exist outside of college conversations at Antioch or such, etc?) … in any case as extended critique of modern day infantile leftism in era of "self-managment" where everyone (or so its said, commonly) a precariat worker …
the civil servant aspect of "the militant" …
still hasnt found its measuring …. YEP .. because in this "political economy" (beorgoise "capitalism") any other logic then effiicent profit production is occulted. that is mystified, 'othered' etc.
On workers councils, and id say the intellectual lefy more broadly, particularly related to 68 France, the points are good,
On my previous comment, there is a pretty good equivocation on measure, which, in an odd way became a big thing with French and Italian theory's jump to pomo-marxism. First, it assumes that capitalists are really great at measurement, which history proves laughable, from that it assumes they care what you do as a worker with your free time to somehow measure it.
While I agree with points, like many French left of left pieces I take it more as polemic than analysis. Which I think your ad-hoc psychoanalysis comment captures well, but could be applied to the whole essay, insofar as it applies a diagnosis to a type yet never fulfills the promise made early in the essay to not sidestep the critique, or if it were a serious promise, apply it to the authors own efficacy.
