Proxmox 8.1 Virtual Environment on Lenovo x3650 M5 – 1347



In this video I put Proxmox 8.1.3 on my good Lenovo x3650 M5 and do a bit of updating, plus get rid of the annoying subscription notice :

The line of code that removed the Subscription Notice:
sed -Ezi.bak “s/(Ext.Msg.show({s+title: gettext(‘No valid sub)/void({ //1/g” /usr/share/javascript/proxmox-widget-toolkit/proxmoxlib.js && systemctl restart pveproxy.service

The reason for trying Proxmox again, is the announcement from Broadcom, that VMWARE will from now and going forward, only be on a subscription plan.
