Join me as I try to have Intel Arc, Linux, and DOSBox, and Lutris coexist and work together to get SimCity 2000 working on modern hardware. Can I get this 30-year-old game to run seamlessly on an Intel i5 13500 system with an A770 installed?
This video happened because @wJack4728 brought to my attention that Intel Arc cards can’t start run DOSBox on Windows after an update in late 2023.

At least some GOG games are still bundled with DOSBox. DOSBox hasn’t been updated since 2018. If you want to install a DOS era game from scratch on Windows or Linux, there are a multitude of DOSBox replacements, but the most popular one is DOSBox staging, and should be a drop in alternative for DOSBox.
