Over 30 illegal miners have been buried alive after the pits collapsed on them at the Chingola Cop-A Sensele open pit mine.
The incident happened yesterday around 23 hours after heavy rains experienced in the district.
And MICHAEL MUSHOTA one of the miners said the earth collapsed in three spots of the open pit mine as the miners were digging for minerals in various tunnels.
