Once equipped with the freshly harvested and milled lumber, the raise project starts to take shape underground. Every piece of this lumber is put to work as Jason, Chad, and Doug labor tirelessly in the dark, wet, and cold conditions beneath the earth’s surface. Their mission: to construct a sturdy and secure pathway, spanning over 50 feet, that connects the lower and upper levels of the mine. Safety and reliability are paramount as they inch closer to the highly anticipated drilling and blasting phase.
