Matt Dyson says that unless you’re moving to a public cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure, “Nobody is planning on migrating from VMware” to another hypervisor. Anything you’re moving to will be a less well-supported product that is less stable, which your staff may not be experienced with, will end up costing significant amounts of money and inevitably cause downtime, which is bad for any business. For most businesses the conclusion would be: stick with VMware!
