Today is 1 year after my Dad Passed Away, so I will not be as active in the comments as usual. Btw Those of you who dislike this video. You are heartless and I curse you.
If this prediction is true & no Switch 2 trailer until February 2025…
We won’t see Switch 2 until Fall of 2025 I’d expect :/
🎉The new Switch 2 will have 12GB LPDDR5 Samsung ram, Nvidia Samsung Polaris chip with 60fps & 4K. Also will have 256GM SSD storage, with bigger buttons, new C-stick, redesigned triggers, & 8 inch LCD display with $399 price. Also will have backwards compatibility & DLSS 3 (Deep Learning Super Sampling). DLSS is available on NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 20, GeForce RTX 30, GeForce RTX 40, and Quadro RTX series of video cards
Sadly it will be next year
I hope the Switch 2 is shaped like a coconut!
If it's coming out very late on 2024, I am moving from modern consoles. The videogame corps become so arrogant and push their agenda instead of what gamers, people, want. Stay awake and do not comply to their agenda.
"Nintendo Alarmo Massive Failure" …… Bro it literally sold out within a Day in Japan and USA….. even in Europe and the UK stocks are getting incredibly low…. if anything it's a nother Success… does that mean the Switch 2 will fail?
Nint is fine. Utubers who need clicks and fans who need new console, they are producing misinformation
My guess is that at worst, it would be January. As it just feels like it would work and they could get some hype behind it. It's not like they couldn't use DK as a way to show the difference maybe. It's almost certainly going to be before Pokemon Day since ZA info will probably be there.
Nintendo always does the opposite you would expect. So, I expect an underpowered piece of ** that only runs 10 year old games.
If they weren’t gonna do it this week they’re not doing it this year. Sorry guys. Time to face facts
They could still reveal it in December. Most holiday sales would have been purchased by then. However I'm still hoping for October or November
Why people keep talking leaks for? Was said the new system will be announced in march 2025. Not before then. Not in 2024.
If Nintendo passed the DS, it will also pass the PlayStation 2 lifetime sales! I think we will see a reveal beginning of the fiscal year… it’s too early to show anything now otherwise it will further reduce the declining momentum for Nintendo to become the best selling system of all time! So, once the numbers are recreated, they will show the next Nintendo and it might be released months later for a march 3 release coincide with switch 8 year anniversary
Why are you mentioning all of these extra features coming with the successor if they have not been confirmed yet? Or are they?
I mean they need to come out with it soon for the christmas sales. Think about it, when does Nintendo get the majority of their money-? Christmas season when buying children gifts. If they dont release it in october, itll definitely be out in november to get preordered for december or somethin-
It would be crazy for them to announce it before Christmas.
I don't think Nintendo expects a successor reveal will significantly change affect the Holiday sales of the Switch since it's already on a decline. Since it looks like production of the new console is starting soon Nintendo has to reveal it soon if they want to get ahead of new leaks.
if they don't announce it this month then they'll reveal it in October, perhaps they don't want to cannibalize the Switch's last holiday sales.
I still think they can reveal the Switch 2 this month or next month after Mario & Luigi Brothership release but if that doesn’t happen, i think it would get revealed in January next year
Nope.
Not October.
Late Feb or front of March.
Launch is July or August.
The reason for this is so Switch 1 and Switch 2 sales are not on same cycle. Nintendo doesnt want this because switch 1 and 2 are same eco system and each console will not be against each other. Also switch 2 on a summer cycle will increase sales of diffetent months on year over year cycle
You see Nintendo needs a failure in order to have a massive success. A hit and miss strategy.
nintendo LITERALLY told us there would be NO switch2 announcements until the end of the current fiscal year!……which is 2025!!!!!! GEEZ!!!!! why would they sabotage their Xmas holiday switch 1 sales with Switch 2 distractions????!!!!! DUH!!!!!!
In my humble opinion if we don’t get it this month you guys need to shut up for the rest of the year
What kind of concerns me is that we just got a new 3D Zelda not long ago so this series will be pretty absent on Switch 2 apart from remakes filling the gaps
I still wouldn’t be surprised if there’s no reveal until March ‘25
I don’t think Nintendo need to rush anything.
I think Switch 2 games will be playable on Switch 1 via the Cloud.
It ain’t getting released anytime soon
Nintendo switch 2 release year 2035 😅😅😅 or more
I predict that if the Switch 2 is revealed in 2025 Nintendo will do the same thing they did in May they'll announce at their investors meeting and through a tweet that the Switch 2 will be revealed in February of 2025 and a few days later they will have a Nintendo Direct showcasing games coming out for the Switch and Switch 2 in 2025 they could also tell us the name of the system in that investors meeting
While the Switch 2 will certainly output a 4K image (& likely feature 4K UI elements in games,) I think it would be foolish to think it will render games in 4K with DLSS at 60fps.
DLSS adds extra latency time to generate a frame & any game outputting a 4K upscaled signal would likely be limited to 30 FPS. Even this is optimistic, and 4K would be very expensive on the CPU / GPU. While the latency is less than natively generating a high resolution frame, it still has a computational cost & will lighten the GPU load with an increase on the CPU load.
I’d expect games to be upscaled from 720p to 1440p-ish with a dynamic resolution at 30/60 fps depending on how CPU intensive the game is. This will still look pretty good, especially from a distance using a TV with the 4K HUDs & UI. Maybe some switch 1 games & indies will hit 4K 60, but don’t expect this for current gen games.
What will be exciting is that the 12GB of LPDDR5X ram will allow for much higher resolution textures & animations, further draw distances, and faster loading (also due to having more CPU cache and a better SSD) These things will be WAY more noticeable to people than resolution.
I just hope we get an option for like a 900p / 1080p 60fps performance mode & a 1440p / 4K 30fps quality mode.
the gamecube was not a massive failure. But it was a failure. It made them money but lost them console market share.
Next year
Don't buy this trash, we need a gaming boycott across the board
Oh get a grip man lol
Always expect Nintendo to not do what you expect.
Brutal honesty: I don't even think we'll have a system reveal before the February Direct.
The more time that passes the more I am convinced that nintendo cancelled the switch 2 and is too complacent with the success of the og switch to admit mistakes happened.
