Nested Virtualization (X86) Part I – George Dunlap, Xen Server
In part I of this topic, we’ll cover the motivation for Nested Virt, briefly overview the HVM hardware we’re going to virtualize, focusing on the AMD hardware, and then sketch out at a high level how to implement it. If we have time, we’ll then talk about the distinctive aspects that Intel has. We’ll cover pitfalls and future work in the second half.
