Nathan’s macOS VM Adventure!
This video documents the quote-on-quote ‘adventure’ I went on to try to set up and use a virtual machine (VM) running the Apple macOS operating system (OS) to use an application called Curve from 6th January 2024 to 20th February 2024.
In other words, watch a beginner in setting up and using virtual machines (VMs) try his hand at setting up and using a virtual machine running the Apple macOS operating system (OS) and seeing if he can use an application that is / was exclusive to the Apple App Store called Curve to do some drawing.
Video Editor: Yat Fung Nathan Ng (Nathan Ng)
Music: ‘IT-B’, ‘You Can Lose’, and ‘Admire You’ by Nathan Ng
Sound effects (SFX):
“Success Fanfare Trumpets” by FunWithSound. (Full reference appears in this video.)
Note for Music: Apparently, YouTube needs me to record a 30-second video of myself on my phone and send that to the company before I can attach external links.
Feel free to search for Hey! It’s Nath on YouTube instead. Look out for a beige circle with orange and blue text.

*Although the user uses VMware Workstation Player instead of VMware Workstation Pro (which I used), this video might have worked for me. I cannot remember which video on YouTube I watched that worked for me AND cannot remember whether a video or bundles of paragraphs on a website helped me get macOS Sonoma up and running, but I will go with the video I linked above.
