The situation in Zimbabwe is even worse than in other countries in the region. In Zimbabwe, it is estimated that approximately 30 percent of all children are orphans, over three quarters of whom have been orphaned due to HIV/AIDS (Catholic Relief Services, 2004, forthcoming; UNAIDS, 2004).
Mr Hyper Nherera brings attention to the silent suffering of these vulnerable children, aiming to raise awareness and inspire action to protect and support them.
