Mining Legend Jim Butler Buried under a Porta Potty?
Tonopah, Nevada was founded based on the discovery of silver by James L. Butler around the turn of the century. But in his latter years he ended up in Sacramento where he is buried in the historic Sacramento City Cemetery. The manager of the cemetery indicated that he is possibly buried underneath the ground on which portable toilets sit!
This episode of History Hunters revisits the life of this often forgotten historical figure (outside of Tonopah) while the second half looks at a historic artifact from the USS Maine which blew up in the Havana, Cuba harbor.
