For a few months, Windows 11 24H2 was blocking third party apps from installing on 24H2, but now, it seems OK for most of the third party customization apps to be installed.

  1. Hi Brian, thanks for the video It's great that customizable programs are starting to work again in Windows 11 24H2. It just takes a little time; there is a lot of new code in Windows 11 24H2. Also, Windows 11 24H2 has been released and is starting to roll out. And Windows 11 24H2 ISO is also available on the Microsoft website, so that's good if you want to do a clean install of the new Windows 24H2 version. So I'll see how I do, but the best thing is to wait a while before upgrading to Windows 11 24H2 and see if any problems start to show up now that Windows 24H2 is rolling out to the general public. But it's good to do a clean installation of Windows sometimes, and especially if it's been a long time since you did it. Heard you said you were a little under the weather get well Brian and take care

  2. These tools are one of the few reasons why I even considered "upgrading" to Windows 10+. I'm glad MS isn't going that direction (and hopefully never will).

I once surmised that MS blocked tools in prev. 24H2 builds to minimize the bug/error reports that could've been caused by these tools, and it might've been the case, after all. As a programmer, I could see why the devs wouldn't want that.

  3. A few simple question:
    1. How to upgrade an Azure Windows 11 21H2 Gen2 VM to 24H2 ?
    2. How to upgrade an Azure Windows 11 Enterprise Multi-Session 21H2 Gen2 VM to 24H2 ?

I know it's a hard question, please ask all Microsoft Azure MVP you can reach !!!!!
    Please & Thanks.

  4. Walked away from windows since they start poking their nose into my own information on my system.
Best move I've ever made as it made me take a good look at Linux OS's an see what worked best for me not whats best for Microsoft.
Loving it & isn't as hard as people think to get your system up & run an doing everything you would in windows. Best way to get free from Gates & his corrupted companies.

  5. Windhawk is injecting code into the running processes in Windows. That cannot be good. As I have said before, I will never use these 3. party programs to tinker with my Windows. Why don't you all go and use Linux, with Linux you are free to tinker all you want`?

  6. I think that microsoft's problem is that it just can't deal with the fact that many users feel its OS needs tweaking, after it spent lots of time and money designing what it thought was an OS with 'better than ever' layout and look.
Can we have vertical folders back please, microshaft? I don't care if those folders are old fashioned IRL.

  7. Hey Brian…i have messaged you before but i never seem to get a reply…hopefully this time around ill get one😅 can you maybe have a look at my pc please
