Looks good , not sure why people dislike it. Sure the P1 looks good too but trust me there were a lot of haters initially but later on it grew on them , same goes for the Senna
Kinda "meh", to be honest. Both predecesors (F1 late 90s and P1 early 2010s) look more impressive for their respective eras than the W1 in the mid 2020s.

idk about it looking better than the Senna, this doesn't scream "put me on a poster and hang me up" like the senna imo. Probably more purpose built though.
If we are talking looks alone, I think breaking with the last 15 years worth of McLaren design language on the headlights was a mistake. At the end of the day the track performance matters more than the looks though
1970's 1980's 1990's super cars were special. There wasn't that many of them. 2000 thrus 2016 maybe, those were the best looking, most beautiful looking supercars. Now there are too many supercars. They are not special, and many are not attractive to look at. The W1 is a much better execution. So these cars will just end up in a garage, seldom seem, seldom driven. Hyper cars are just investments to be apart of a portfolio to fight against inflation
I have a huge problem with this front end, it resembles a lykan hypersport, made by W motors. Wait a minute… W motors? Mclaren W1? Coincidence i dont think so
A lot of people don't like the new design but in my opinion if given time the design will start to get to people many new car designs start liked or disliked but some of the disliked one's will only start gaining appreciation after some time and in my eyes the W1 has that type of future
The P1 is so much better looking. It even doesn't come close. A car like this needs to own a looks to die for. But this is missing unfortunately. When we see the inside, again it doesn't come close to the interior of the P1. The screen in the middle looks like it has been glued to hold. It is a missed opportunity. I think they will have difficulties to get them all sold. The speed and power does not solve the limited looks.
Cap where?
"…8 inches in my opinion is the perfect size…"

Generic AI generated design
just wait for the W1 GTR
It looks like a mix of P1 and senna
But in a good way
McLaren cars are not beautiful in my opinion, but look very technical in their function.
Another maintenance nightmare cause we all know how high quality McLaren is these days 😂

Should’ve had more power and AWD
Should have kept the McLaren headlights from the P1 and 720s

Mercedes Amg One
I think the W1 is absolutely stunning, where they failed was the front lights. They're way too plain for McLaren hypercar coming out in 2025.
Senna looks better than this
Looks amazing. Love the long tail spoiler. Can't wait to see different specs.
Mc20 + Nevera inspired for sure
It's like you've seen every part of this before and those parts are put together in the most incoherent way possible. disappointing
the designer had nothing to say with that car
Now we wait for ferari and porches
Everyone hating it who don't have £2 million or a pre order allocation 😏
Looks like a Rimac Nevera
My main problem is the front end. Looks like a rimac nevera which is not a good thing in my opinion

Wooo… another hypercar… From McLaren.. yeeeh… I guess
I think they messed up the front. It needed to look a lot more dynamic.
The Wheels Look so small proportion wise
Anything looks better than the Senna
To me it looks like the lovechild of the Senna, Artura, and Elva
The “big scoop” @6:28 on the front hood is called an “S duct” just trying to being helpful…
I mean, they are mclaren, clearly they can do better than this
265mm fronts
335mm rears
McLaren trying to no plaster half of the car in black challenge (Impossible)
Initially, I was underwhelmed by the design, but the more I look at it, the more I like it.

Coincidence i dont think so
McLaren sena is an ugly looking car. The W1 is much better looking.
We get the corvette c8 zr1 now it seems all these supers car companies releasing new stuff to outdo it
looks cool, looking forward to seeing some MSO options on them
I wished they woul've hybridized the Solus V10 for the powertrain TBH
Omg this is a lightweight version of Blembi no hat no glasses
Rimac Nevera front 🧐
