The graph 3:51 has an error. The M3 Pro bar graphs are correct but the numbers should read – 138 | 1040
The 1690 value is for the M3 Max
Also the animation at 1:35 is reversed (if you were wondering about airflow directions)
its designed to be standing hence the power button at the rear

Charging port at the bottom is for planned obsolence. When the battery loses charging capability people would just put a usb cable and leave it that way. Apple would want them to buy a new mouse instead. Thus, bottom charging port will stay.

I have a 2019 MacBook Pro i9 32 gb ram. I want to get into making videos and courses online. While 1080p videos are sufficient for my use case. I’d love to get into 4K videos too. I have a 10gig network into the house connected to a synology nas.
Would the base m4 be sufficient or should I spring for the pro? Also I am wanting to upgrade because I am understanding that even the base m4 is twice as fast as the i9. What about RAM?

do the cameras has Type C to Type C connection or are you using an HDMI to Type C capture card for each one of them?
I'm trying to get a 4K capture card but there are so many of them, I got some but they only output HD@60Hz

Trust apple to remove the common ports. The power button on the bottom is honestly not practical.
If you don't have anything plugged in the power button could not be a problem. But, if you have hds, hubs and other things it's a nightmare. And you can't put it always on sleep because other things connected stays on. I tried with mine. So, totally nonsense for pros.

Nice vid! I have a question. I have an old 2015 iMac that has been my main desktop for years till recently when wifi stopped working. Is it possible for me to get an iMac Mini and instead of getting a separate monitor, just to connect to my old iMac? Not sure if that's even possible. I'm not very tech savvy.
And that NAIL will brake when we try to shutdown this device whose idea is that to provide the shutdown button underneath the system

3:30 the thing about thunderbolt 5 is that it makes it possible to have external storage that's as fast as the internal storage. That wasn't possible before. Of course, it will take a while to see tb5 drives and enclosures available.
