  1. Apple is completely out of touch. The only reason why people buy the Mac Mini over just getting a MacBook Air and hooking it up to a monitor is because of the high number of ports on the Mini vs. a laptop. 6 USB ports is the absolute minimum a Mac Mini should have. I bet this new one will have 2. I'm done with Apple. Their products suck now.

  2. "Apple is obsessed with making things bigger"
That's a nice rock you're living under. Not happening anyway. If anything, we'll get USB ports and the card reader on the front like the Studio. Nothing more.

  3. Get rid of the “Skit”
Or give us a couple of seconds warning so we can jump to the proper bit of the video cause u make urself look like a fool.
I respect you less every time I see them in the opening milliseconds of your video.
Honestly can’t take u seriously anymore.

  4. I feel like this is an only me want but I would love for the Mac Mini to be ran off of USB-C power/ I don't know if the 100w ish limit would be enough but still would be cool.

  5. Why reinvent the wheel?
The Mini form factor is just fine.

I can’t think of any use case where you actually need the mini to be smaller.

Even the current one you could strap at the back of a monitor

  6. Let’s add a power brick that is bigger than the Mac mini that is 17x as inconvenient as a full size Mac mini. With no ports because it’s too small to have ports. So it will be less useful than an iPad. More inconvenient, and vastly more senseless.

  7. Honestly i kinda hope they make the m4 smaller, out of plastic/aluminium like the apple tv
It will probably be passively cooled, or a fan for the m4 pro variant and the psu will be included, kinda hyped to be honest

  8. Considering their are a bunch of tiny NUC PC's in the market it's about freaking time. Nothing mini about the big Mac mini. I've been saying this for the longest time, they should make a small mac the size of the AppleTV.

  9. Mini getting yet smaller means just once thing: apple are finally putting to rest any hopes for upper-perf silicon ala Max chips. Which is a departure from the 'mini is whatever is in the macbook lineup' we had until not long ago.

  10. What I want on the base M4 mini: fanless heatsink case, powered by USB-C, wifi7, expose all 4 thunderbolt ports.
The M4 pro should have a larger body, be fan cooled, have an internal PSU and a 10Gb ethernet option.

  11. Even though I am a PC guy, I do like the Mac Mini product. Thus, this would be great product if it goes into mass production. Even if it performed on the M2 Air level, that would still be good from a CPU standpoint alone.

  12. 4:49 i believe it. It makes the most sense. Even if it’s downclocked a bit, the iPad Pro runs off passive cooling with no vents. Certainly a vented Mac mini in an apple tv enclosure should be able to sustain modest work loads and stay relatively cool.

  13. I honestly would've preferred the same design with a major cooling overhaul instead. Unless they're bigger than your average desktop PC case, desktop computer sizes really don't matter. Plus the design is timeless. Nothing else screams Apple more than a big hunk of aluminum.
