Linux On Windows? The Surprising Truth Told!

This week we being an exploration of Virtual Machines with running Zorin OS On Windows 10.
If you’re not familiar with what a virtual machine (Or VM) is, it’s essentially a copy or an emulation of a computer running on top of an operating system called a hypervisor! Using a Virtual machine is great way to experiment with an operating system without impacting your existing computer/software/apps. Virtual machines run in a protected environment with it’s own dedicated resources.
We’ll start by downloading a free version of Zorin os and installing and running Zorin via Windows’ Hyper V, which is a Hyper Visor.
In a future video, I will be taking a deeper dive on virtual machines and hypervisors, so please offer any suggestions on what you’d like to see!
