  1. I agree that LINUX is the other option other than Windows. But right now, about 85% of business corporations are held hostages by Microsoft's well interoperable eco-environment that has knit-well its OS and its ancillary applications along with its well polished Office365. The main issue is not just the look and feel or the challenge of "getting-used to a new desktop' but also how converts from Windows can smoothly transition with what they were doing through Windows in the LINUX environment. One tech French Canadian vLogger already pointed out that installing Office365 is impossible to install into LINUX of whatever flavor (although installation is feasible with the 2007, 2010, 2013, and 2016 versions). Ironically, while Microsoft has provided the MSOffice365 installer for the IOS and Android, it has never issued any flatpak or snap installer for its Office. But this does not stop LINUX techies in scratching their heads to find a way to install Office365 into LINUX. But for the common non-tech users who have neither the tech savvy nor the patience, this one huge vacuum is surely a huge turn-off. On the other hand, the advent of Windows 11 presents an issue to regular users who can no longer control their own laptops and PCs as before because Windows 11 will virtually hostage the hardware. Looks like we are in the same twilight zone as was in the mid-1980s when PC users were wondering whether they will use the battle-tested IBM PC-DOS or the new clone yet freely installed Microsoft DOS. I personally would take "the road less travelled by" with due caution and optimism rather than be tied-up. 😇

  2. "Linux Distros That Feel Like Windows" WTF, everyone is trying to get AWAY from WINDOWS. Even Windows itself is pushing people towards Linux. Linux that resembles Windows is OS Sacrilege!
