Why haven't I ever been told about this command!
Retyping a short command is not that time consuming, I just type it again with sudo. If it is long, I use the up arrow key, then back up to the front of the command. Seeing this makes a long command easier, thanks.

You can also use something like !-2 to go back 2 commands back. !-3 to go back three and so on.
You can also use the command "history" and it gives you a numbered list of your previous commands.
You an type !<command number> to repeat that command.
sudo !! (BangBang)

Or why not press up key and just add sudo to the command? Or better yet, when doing admin stuff, run sudo -s, to get root shell
