Virtualization
Lesson 3A: VIRTUALIZATION (PART 2) ( DOMAIN 1: OP SEC)
We discuss the differences between Type I and Type II hypervisors. Type I hypervisors are lean and efficient, commonly used in enterprise settings with specialized remote management tools. Type II hypervisors run on top of a host operating system, adding an extra layer of software, but are well-suited for less critical applications and general-purpose virtualized environments, offering flexibility for various tasks, especially in analysis and non-enterprise settings.
