Come for the discussion on the rise of the Korean Defence Sector in the global arms market and examination of trends in system development and marketing – stay for me get caught off guard by some K2s popping smoke?
Hope you enjoy the change of pace, and a look inside what was a pretty interesting event.
Apologies for the slightly delayed release – this whole "video" thing has a way of introducing production complications beyond the ever reliable PPT.
Realy nice one buddy ! Thanks.
Really cool and informative video, wish you can go to more defense exhibitions and make videos like this, cheers
54:00 aaahhh, SAAB brought one of these to a job fair at my old university as well. Good times with simulated weapons!
I was not prepared to see tanks zooming today, very impressive they can move that fast.
No one's having kids? Yeah, everyone's broke. Go figure…
The Bundeswehr bashing is crazy

The munitions maker getring into drones: at this point many drones costing 1500 to 300 dollars they nearly ARE expendable munitions more so than your average missle.
The recent 1200 drone strike against israel overwhelmed their iron dome , i sae video of an explosion 1 per second hitting the target area. It isn't a winning proposition burning a 65k anti missle to take out a 200 dollar drone. We have drones diving into open tank hatches, or droping a 80 dollar grenade in the top of a 5 million dollar tank. Now we have drone swarms of hundreds capable of overwhelming any anti mistle system not capable of just filling every inch of the air with aa fire .
The idea of A missle taking out a target is a bit obsolete at this point, any guidenc can be jammed, long distance anti-missles can usually shoot down an expensive long range missle cheaper. But now even if these high budget missles are used you send a swarm of drones as a meat shield for your hyper sonic missle, and and when 1 hpersonic costs as much as 1000 drones why use even that 1? Even if the guidence is no where close you can blown up an entire city with an impossible to stop a CLOUD of drones for less than A precission huge warhead hypersonic.
Honestly LOVED this episode, Perun!! Proud of you for making these so faithfully for us to enjoy.
This future PowerPoint is like when Dylan went electric
19:56 "a bay at the back for launching and recovering an organic ISR reconnaissance drone asset" yes, that's very interesting. The way it's worded so vaguely with "bay" "organic" and "asset" makes it sounds like they want to put a bird cage with ISR pigeons in the back
@Perun I think the data part is a very under reported part of the war in Ukraine, most of the military equipment the West has in inventory has never been tested in peer to peer conflict and the value of sending it to Ukrine to be tested I feel like is properbly worth more than the equipment itself like a lot more, but I suppose that could be the engineer in me thinking that, any chance we could get the ecconomists thought on that subject?

Calling Mum for help has a whole different layer now.
Training data is going to completely flip the concept of camouflage
"There might be a little bit of development heresy going on, but potentially in a very good way"
I'm getting away from Perun before the Inquisition arrives.
Wonder what you'd think of the next I/ITSEC Event?
hi , recently i remembered that Perum made a statement about Russian Personell loses , and that western estimates might be closer to the truth because of Statements from the Rusian Government about the Numbers they started the war and the numbers they want to accumulate now.
maybe someone can help me ?
in Which video was that ?

Top notch, insightful commentary, and some good footage of the event. Made for a nice change. Cheers.
And the US is stationing troops in Korea for what reason again? The Koreans know something and getting into that slice of the pie before it really gets good.
So good. Thank you.
Called it with North Korean soldiers in Ukraine 3 months ago
They seriously made a budget HIMARS
I was a bit skeptical going into this one, expecting either a puff piece for the Korean military or the video equivalent of vacation slides, but there's some potentially valuable insights here, as always. Perun does not disappoint.
I guess that you visited South Korea :,)
