I sort of fell in love with Manjaro's KDE Plasma desktop while trying configuring and playing with different distributions for my Raspberry Pi 5 / DeX-dock laptop I am building for myself…
After spending half of my week-end trying to install Manjaro on my Pi5 (and playing with some Ubuntu desktops, even trying Pimiga4 – which I unfortunately wasn't able to make work as intended…), I just noticed, this morning, that I had this video in my Watch Later list!
I now have Plasma on my DeXtop-Pi! A big thanks to LeePSP for it!!
Now, to complete the config!!
It won‘t work work. I‘ve installed ubuntu with pinn. After Distuprade to 24.02 and Addict The kde repositories, a reboot ends in a Kernel panic. This is also Wehen i install ubuntu 24.02 allone.
does waydroid work on wayland ?

for debian I just remove the snap stuff
Is there any advantage in running KDE vs the regular pi os.
better to use Raspberry OS light and install KDE separately. Works perfectly!
Sorry to ask here . What the highest endurance SDCARD for pi 5 that will stay longer with no failure. I don't careaboutspeed (Only SD card no SSD 🙂

@leepspvideo I managed to get rid of the graphics glitch at log in when i started with raspberry pi os lite, then installing KDE plasma desktop.
