We have an existing Windows Form Desktop Application created in Visual Studio and C# that communicates with an SQL Server database. We want to test our Application in a Virtual Test Environment. We will use the VirtualBox virtualization software. We install Windows 10/11 in a Virtual Machine (VM) inside VirtualBox. We need a Windows 10/11 ISO file. Then we deploy our Desktop Application to that VM. The Test Environment shall simulate the final Production Environment so we shall NOT install Visual Studio, but we choose to install a local SQL Server Express database.
