Install the Rust Toolchain on an Ubuntu Linux Server ?

In this video, we’re going to explore how to set up your Rust toolchain, including the Rust compiler (rustc), rustfmt, clippy, and cargo CLI. We’ll start completely from scratch by setting up an Ubuntu Linux Server virtual machine β€” using LXD β€” and then we’ll install Rust on top of it.

We’ll write a basic Rust program, then compile and run it. Finally, we’ll take a look at Microsoft Visual Studio Code, and how you can remotely connect VSCode to your Rust development server. This way, you’ll have a consistent development environment to work on, regardless of which computer you’re currently sitting at!
