In this video I show you how to use app templates and volumes to install a Plex Media Server on Portainer using Open Media Vault and Proxmox.
We create a NFS share in Open Media Vault which is running on Proxmox with a hard disk passed through to it. From there we create a volume in Portainer to access the NFS share. Using app templates, we create a Plex container on Portainer and give it access to the volume so it can read the media we have stored there.
