Want to install gmail app on windows 10 or windows 11? You can create a gmail app without downloading anything! Open Microsoft Edge. type the following in the address bar and hit the enter key
edge://apps
turn on “show apps button in toolbar” on the left panel.
Now go to Gmail. Click on APP icon on the top right
Click on Install, to install this site as an app.
Name it as Gmail and Install it.
You’ll see a success message saying ” App installed. Publisher: accounts.google.com. Gmail has been installed as an app on your device and will safely run in its own window. Launch it from the start menu, Windows taskbar on your desktop”.
Now select all these to enable them
a- Pin to taskbar
b- pin to start
c- create desktop shortcut
d- auto-start on device login.
click on Allow.
System will ask you to pin Gmail to the taskbar. You can confirm it if you wish so.
Enable desktop notification as well, if you want instant notifications for Gmail.
