In this Arduino and Teensy microcontroller tutorial, we explain how to install and use Teensy microcontroller in Arduino IDE. We explain how to install the Teensyduino library and how to write two programs. The first program is “Hello World” program and the second one is the classical “Blink” internal LED example.
The idea is to use Arduino IDE (IDE stands for the Integrated Development Environment) to program Teensy boards. This greatly simplifies the programming of Teensy boards, since we can use Arduino-looking functions to program Teensy boards.
