  1. Also using Hyprland under Arch Linux on the same config you have (Hyde) on a Nvidia GPU RTX 3060, I switched 3 months ago from Windows 10 and ive have had some issue of discord flickering before, had to disable Hardware Acceleration to fix it in Vesktop settings, other than that no issue at all so idrk what people are talking about when it comes to issues with nvidia cards, overall been extremely happy with my Arch Linux setup even got my friend to switch from windows to arch and he's happy with it too, nice wallpaper btw

  2. that wallpaper is soo nice !!
The only thing stopping me from migrating to arch linux or other distro is that i can't find a suitable replacement for autohotkey and i absolutely can't live without it. Microsoft is pissing me off so much… all the programs people recommend are just for automatic typing, not defining hotkeys or what in ahk they call "hotstrings" which is autocorrecting when you misspelled a word system-wide

  3. Hyprland is really neat, highly customizable, and feels good in general. But for my specific use case(s) and setup, Tiling WMs doesn't really work that well so I stick to full blown DEs like KDE Plasma or Budgie.

    Welcome to Arch BTW.

  4. I've recently started experimenting with Linux as well. Got Linux Mint running on my old laptop. Thinking of dual booting on my main PC cause it just feels so snappy and as you said Windows is pissing me off with how little control we have over our own BOUGHT OS lol

  5. nice setup, i also use hyprland, more specificly hyprdots. I have a few issues, I dont get audio when using steam, unity crashes when i drag and drop and jellyfin has so much colorbanding I prefer sitting at the desk on my windows desktop rather than using arch laptop. Aside from that, it all works great.
