Bro even though you used it for pressure plates, you basically just made an iron farm which is like really useful
Don't feel bad about Gregtech boggling your mind at times, it is infamous for that. Most people with 9 years of Minecraft experience feel that it's too complicated to get into, let alone 9 months.
oh no, not gregtech. that is such a difficult mod. i've never really been able to get into it aside from the gregtech community pack
There are about 500 mods that would be better if they had the Ponder mechanic that Create has.
Half of the reason why Create is the best industrial mod out there is because of the ponder mechanic that makes complex mechanics easy to understand, the other half is the cool animations.

A lot of the confusion here is not on you, gregtech is famously tedious and somewhat awful
