I played Elden Ring for 3500 Hours. Here are the Best and Worst DLC Bosses – ER DLC Boss Tier List

I have played the game more than you, so my opinion is clearly more valid. Oh, also Dane, the Dryleaf, so easily forgotten…

  1. The only correct Ranking

    Divine Beast Dancing Lion (S)
    Bayle The Dread (S)
    Rellana, Twin Moon Knight (S)
    Messmer The Impaler (S)
    Putrescent Knight (B)
    Scadutree Avatar (C)
    Commander Gaius (B)
Metyr, The Mother of Fingers (D)
Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame (S)
Romina, Saint of the Bud (B)
    Primed Consort Radahn (S)

    As for ranking by number
    1. PCR
    2. Bayle
    3. Messmer
    4. Rellana
    5. Midra
    6. Dancing Lion
    7. Romina
    8. Gaius
    9. Putrescent Knight
    10. Scadutree Avatar
    11. Metyr

And no one really cares about the npc bosses and field bosses beyond the first couple of play throughs so they are irrelevant to me

  2. My Personal SotE Remembrance Ranking is:

    S
    Messmer the Impaler
    Bayle the Dread
    A
    Divine Beast Lion Dancer
    Midra, Lord of Frenzy Flame
    Putrescent Knight
    B
    Romina, Saint of the Bud
    Scadutree Avatar
    C
    Metyr, Mother of Fingers
    Commander Gaius
    D
    Radahn, Consort of Miquella
    F
    Rellana, Twin Moon Knight

  3. Just my opinion, but if you take into consideration every single thing then Bayle not having a cinematic should hurt his ranking (same with Rellana, Romina and Putrescent) and Midra having the best cinematic in the entire game should also boost his ranking

  4. 1:58 the funniest thing to me about Senessax is that she technically fixes my biggest issue with the original Ancient Dragon moveset: the followup lighting being too fast for you to comfortably roll against if you roll the initial swing. Her lighting strikes are all delayed so you can just roll twice to beat get around them comfortably… too bad this isn't indicated well at all and its so comically punishing to get hit that the fight is simply not worth doing, lol. Totally agree with her placemeny

  5. Great video, its clear you love elden ring and know what you are talking about. Your list is really solid, although I feel divine beast dancing lion is a more enjoyable and interesting boss than Gaius, Metyr and (maybe) Putrescent knight. I found Metyr much less engaging than the lion, and as you stated, found some of her attacks unintuitive to dodge. Its a similar story with Gaius, especially that opening charge. I feel like lion is a bit more enjoyable as not only does it have a (in my opinion), far stronger design with its elemental transitions, but I enjoyed sticking close and learning his more unnatural movement, rather than having to chase after the boss, such as during Putrescent knight and Gaius's boss fights. Its a minor nitpick, phenomenal video overall!

  6. Deathrite bird also has a pretty casual cheese. It is useless for a speedrunner cuz its slow, but for a newbie its good. It's a common thing for a dlc that enemies try to lure you into a trap and usually stay in a certain area if you don't agro them too much. The boss tries to stay in place where there are a lot of birds and will step back if it gets too far. You can shoot it with a bow max range and it will only do one type of attack and then stumble in one place, cuz it doesn't want to leave the birds. Once you find out this AI cheese, and I found it pretty unintentionally, trying just to get a lil bit of free damage and noticing it stays there, the presentation of a boss is totally ruined, and it wasn't a fun boss in the first place in the base game.

  7. I might be in the minority but my favorite boss was Putrescent Knight. I went in blind and thought I got trolled by the messages when I started falling ๐Ÿ˜… Same thing happened to me in DS3 with Demon in Pain & Demon from
Below so it was a cool call back in a way.
