Just flash a Windows iso on a USB stick, get an external thunderbolt name disk, and install windows there, and boom, you are running windows 😅 parallels had corrupted the partition anyway I never used the default method

I didn't think people still ran Windows on their Macs. I know it was a big deal in the Intel era (I have an old 2010 MBP with Windows on it) but I haven't seen a Mac running Windows in the wild for a long time
