How to mine faster [Java Edition]

It’s a very niche mechanic I found a while ago while testing cobble stone generators, which you can also see in a video. Only time …

  1. i actually found this out myself recently on accident. i wanted to make a macro to hold left click for me, but my software would just let me press the button every millisecond, which seemed to work except i noticed it was faster. learned something new after 13+ years

  2. fun fact: if u install a mod called Tweakeroo (requires malilib mod) u can use the fast left click mechanic to replicate this, remember to set it to 1 so u wont get kicked in servers (setting it to 1 makes it 20 cps bc its clicks per tick)

  3. So this is why I keep getting triggered about there being a delay before I can break someone's bed in bedwars, whereas seemingly all my opponents near insta-break my bed

  4. ah so java does have click mine mechanic too, it js only skips 1 tick delay instead of the whole 6 ticks like in bedrock (ik it's prob not doable practically but it's definitely useful for TAS)

  5. i play on laptop and im 2 lazy to use my mouse so i just have LMB bound to r and RMB bound to t, takes some time to get used to but it feels way easier than to use trackpad given if im 2 lazy to use my mouse or i dont have enough space for it.

  6. That's something i actually find out accidentally… But i did it with a mouse. I have a G502 so i can bind a macro to any key. If you set click down (no click up) with no delay of any sort on repeat on a button of your mouse with the LG Hub app you can pull this off. And it doesn't reset when moving because… Well your keyboard inputs don't reset your mouse inputs. Although if you do not have a block behind the one you are mining it does the pvp/pve hit and takes a while for the tool to be usable again because of the low attack speed, but if you're trying to mine out half a mountain it should be plenty good enough.

  7. Ahh! The famous clickmining technique! Too bad it isn't around anymore… however, there are mods that eliminate the 5 tick delay, both for Java and Bedrock (for bedrock it's actually only in hack clients)
