Hey Sara, I just got another hoovering attempt after 6 months of dumping and blocking her everywhere. She even used a third-party app to bypass the block. Do covert female narcissists ever stop hoovering, or should I be expecting more of these attempts?

Somehow a very big issue for me was the small put downs or cruel humor sprinkled with "Im just kidding", "you are so sensitive I cant even joke with you", "yeah humor is difficult for some" or the "you made me do it", "I never said that"
In time, this causes so much internal pressure and anxiety that.. it made it difficult to even sleep or have any trust for this person. So while keeping the peace and letting things slide, you still feel the effects of it. Or maybe I really just couldnt let things slide. It keeps a very unsafe feeling alive when the other person takes no accountability.

Don't have the relationship once recognised, much as have one has the option to eradicate an infestation of flies once recognised. It's the more sensible course of action. It's interesting what you say about the trait of empathy and how it can be eroded, or something to that effect.
