How to Install Windows XP as a Virtual Machine in VirtualBox



If you have the need to run Windows XP to maybe use some older software that won’t run on Windows 10 or 11, or maybe you just want to see how Windows XP looks, you can easily create a virtual machine in Oracle VirtualBox and run it there. You can download the Windows ISO file and mount in on a new VM and install it as if it were a physical computer. Then you can install the VirtualBox Guest Additions just like you can with your other VMs.
