The user folder in my C: drive is called 'steamuser' and I can't figure out why. The flatseal config is identical. Any idea why that may be?

im gonna ask a second question; a important but sort of noobie one. So, Bottles has GL, Vulkan and GDI. If I have a NVIDIA card, shouldn't I choose GL? I did this; cracked a game on Nobara — i meaaan, generously.. uh, for.. informational purposes, lets say.. and then I decided to run it with GL and Vulkan, GL showcased some problems, like stutters, whilst Vulkan, did not. And if I DO use this to run for example Hitman 3 WOA, do I lose out on the NVIDIA reflex boost? (I have a 1050 ti NVIDIA, if yall gimme some advice I would greatly appreciate it! noobie linux user here)
I tried this and the installer told me a .bin file was missing at start, despite actually being in the folder 🙁
I applied permissions inn Flatseal like you did.
EDIT: I launched the installer from system wine, which worked fine and then I was able to launch the game sucessfully in Bottles.

i want to move to linux on my main pc, i daily drive mint on my laptop. But i have an nvidia gpu, should i switch or should i first buy an amd gpu (pretty tired of nvidias bs after using an rx 580 for a while)
I did all the steps up to 01:10, after that the installer doesn't open. Am I doing something wrong? I'm on Ubuntu 24.04

You ever get this error for "An error occured while unpacking: Does not match checksum! Unarc.dll returned an error code: -12"? It's fine if not, but I'm searching for people who have gotten the same error and seeing if they found a fix for it.
