Install Kali Linux in a VirtualBox VM
In this video, we show you how to install a guest operating system in VirtualBox. We will be installing Kali Linux as a guest operating system, with Linux Mint as the host operating system.

Make sure you check whether your host operating system is 32bit or 64bit (most newer computers will be 64bit).
VirtualBox allows you to run a virtual computer (virtual machine) inside your main operating system without altering the configuration of your main operating system. For example, if you are running a Windows operating system, you could install a Linux Virtual Machine to gain the benefits of both.
Note that the virtual machine will use resources from the host operating system (like RAM and hard-disk space). The host computer should have enough resources to run the host and the guest at the same time.
