Hillo folks! New tutorial here! In this video I’ll be covering the basics of using homebrew on your Switch. Whether you’re new to Switch modding or returning to it for the first time in a while, this guide is for you. This guide goes over the setup of Hekate, TegraRCMGUI(payload injector), Atmosphère CFW, USB file transferring, and where to place homebrew apps.
The computer sections of the video are being done on a Windows PC. If you are using a Chromebook, Mac, or Linux, that’s okay. You can still follow along.

When i opened atmosphere I accidentally let go of R and now its a black screen and I can’t turn off my switch what do i do?

I have a problem with modding and entering RCM. I don't know if it's because of my series number (XTJ1) that it's causing the problem of not being able to mod. Please help.
Why didn’t you make an emulated nand? and why didn’t you block the internet so you don’t get banned
when i try injecting the payload it crashes and says not responding. I've tried a few other cables that i had and none of them were picking up on the RCM mode. The only cable that did pick up on it would work until I tried injecting the payload and then it crashes. Do you think it's the cable I'm using that's causing the crashes? What kind of USB cable should I get that will work for this because the one I'm using kinda feels cheap and is really floppy.

i wish there was a comprehensive guide for the partitions and what they do. i followed this guide, i assume upgrading the sd card is a simple copy paste because we used this partition scheme.
How do I install tinfoil and get free games?
I don't know if it's a new version I have, but I had to press and hold right button AND right trigger to load out of applet mode. I searched everywhere for answer and could not find out why it wasn't working just holding trigger until I just tried holding both to see, and it worked. Hope this helps someone

Also, I need help with another error, when I injected the payload with hekate when I’m trying again, it’s says “TegraRCM GUI is not responding”. Can you help with this to be resolved too?
bro i have a problem: on tegrarcmgui it says inject payload, after that it syay that the app doesn't respond (Not Responding). What do i do??

One other question. I'm using a completely new card. I lost what was on the other one. Do I need to create any folders? Nintendo? Emmu?
Doesn't Fat32 limit you to 4GB though? What if you're installing something above 4gb? I thought that was the reason for using EXfat?

As someone with experience doing this, I would have preferred the order to be different… BUT… for a total noob I think your order is probably a good thing. I think you did a great job with this. OMG I just bought a switch for 200€ JUST for modding ssbu offline. And now I see that my switch is XKJ which means its patched… So is there ANY WAY to still mod ssbu or only with a stupid chip??

I spent hours backing up my sd card with 400gb of games before hacking my Switch yesterday. After hacking I figured just copying the "Nintendo" folder back onto my sd card would allow me access to my games. It took 1.5× as long to copy it back, and didn't work.
Do I actually have to dl all of those games through tinfoil or w/e to access them again?
It's just telling me that my serial number isn't valid
you can also mod patched switch but not with this guide with DNS
